Winter/Spring semester classes start

Join a combo! If you’ve never improvised, that’s no problem. There are opportunities for all, including classical musicians intrigued by jazz’s structure and improvisational opportunities.
Sessions are 10 weeks long (except for Youth Jazz which is 8 weeks); the semester begins on February 11th for Monday classes, Feb. 12 for Tuesday, etc.
Sessions culminate with a concert at the Jazz Center Performance space on Sunday, May 5th at 4:00 PM.
Private Lessons: the VJC recommends juried instructors – arrangements are then coordinated directly between instructors and students. Email vtjazz@gmail.com with a short summary of your musical background and we will match you with a qualified instructor.
