UVM Big Band with Special Guest trumpeter Ray Vega.
The VJC welcomes the UVM Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Alex Stewart, featuring world-class trumpeter Ray Vega. A combo from the Putney School will open. The UVM Big Band will be performing original compositions and arrangements prepared by drummer and educator Dennis Mackrel, who was their guest artist for their recent spring concert. This event is open to the public. Suggested donation: $5.00.
