Saxophonist Ron Kelley is a dedicated teacher, serving as director of the music department at Leland and Gray Union High School from 1994–2017, and at the Vermont Governor’s Institute of the Arts for two decades, where he conducted the all-school chorus as well as teaching composition and electronic music. In his performing life, Ron has toured for many years with the Bread and Puppet Theater and previously led a New Orleans style jazz band in New York City. Since his retirement, Ron continues to bring joy to numerous communities and connect with youth through his participation in several bands, including his trad jazz band The Hot Noodles.
