The Jazz Guitar Ensemble will focus on music from the bop and post-bop eras and will include compositions written by Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and others. The overall goal is to improve our listening skills – to play with others while maintaining your own musical integrity and individuality. Students will learn a variety of skills, including Intros and endings, chord vocabulary and substitutions as well as tips on improvising and style.
